We welcome you and your children from the nursery through 5th grade (age 12) to a fun, safe, and faith-focused atmosphere. SMC Children’s Ministry's goal is to partner with parents and caregivers to help children grow by providing a program rooted in Scripture.

Our mission is simple:

To create a program, “Where Love Abides”- today and for a lifetime. 

• Sunday School: Every Sunday morning (9:45 – 10:30)
• Children Church: kid‑friendly extension of our Sunday Worship Service.
• Wednesdays: a full afternoon and evening of fun and learning.

The Nursery at Somerville Methodist Church welcomes children from birth through age 3. When children turn three, they are encouraged to join our Children’s Ministry programs.

Our Nursery is here to support family spiritual growth by providing a safe space for little ones during worship and study times. It is open on Sunday mornings beginning at 9:15 AM for Sunday School and Sunday Worship, and on Wednesdays at 5:30 PM during programming.
