The Mission of Somerville Methodist Church is to be a place "Where Love Abides", and to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world through

Worship, Discipleship, Mission, Hospitality, and Congregational Care.

Our Council of Ministries has been restructured to more effectively support the mission of our church and to strengthen communication among all Committees and ministry work areas. The Council on Ministries serves as the central place where we, as a church congregation, discern, coordinate, and develop the programming needed to fulfill our mission. Through this structure, we ensure that our ministries work together, share information, and remain aligned with the vision God has given our church.
